COVID-19 Guidelines

We remain committed to providing our clients with the best service possible during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our priority is the safety and well-being of our people, clients, family, friends, and communities.
 
Orange COVID-19 Protection Framework (CPF) Setting
The following services are available and will observe the recommended Ministry of Health, WorkSafe, REA ORANGE and REINZ ORANGE guidelines.
 
  • Our branches are open with First National Roper & Jones staff continuing to be available to assist customers, in person or remotely
 
  • Property appraisals, viewings, and contract signings can all be conducted in person. If the following controls are applied:
    • All staff, vendors, and tenants to meet the government's health requirements (No one should attend the office or a property or engage in real estate activities if they have cold/flu like symptoms, are self-isolating, are awaiting a COVID-19 test or have been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case).
    • Face coverings strongly encouraged for attendees over 8 years old; essential for realestate workers
    • Follow hygiene protocols.
 
  • Open homes and indoor auctions can proceed with no capacity limit or physical distancing.
 
  • Rental property inspections will be carried out where appropriate.
 
  • Pre-settlement inspections can take place.
 
The following third-party services can also be undertaken:
  • Property valuations
  • Professional photography and videography
  • Home staging
  • Moving services
 
For your safety, services performed in person at all Covid-19 Protection Framework Traffic Light settings will observe the recommended Ministry of Health, WorkSafe, REA and REINZ guidelines related to social distancing, hygiene, crowd limits and mask wearing.
